Welcome to Ohana Yoga
“It’s been a year since I’ve created the idea of Ohana Yoga NC. This place was opened to help people help themselves on their personal journey through the Ancient Practice of Yoga. YOGA has always been a gift to me. I’ve been practicing yoga since I was 8 years old bc my family thought it would help balance my mind and my body. Without my family and without yoga I would not have succeeded in almost all of my accomplishments. Martial Arts, Professional Baseball, International Acting & Modeling, and the other Health & Fitness professions wouldn’t have happened without my Ohana and without my Yoga practice.
Francis Hodgson Bernett said, “If you look the right way you can see the whole world is a garden.” If this is True, then that means we’re all one big family living in the same yard.”
I believe everyone deserves to BE Happy, FEEL Joy, CREATE Peace, and have an ABUNDANCE of Love for Life. Yoga brings our mind and our body back to our most natural state (the state WE ARE meant to be). Yoga is the “unioning” of the mind with the body by focusing on conscious breath to pursue mental clarity. Our yoga postures we express during our yoga practice help the body to promote balance, strength, range of motion, flexibility, and spinal health. Our conscious breathing will exercise our minds to help us control our emotions, boost self-esteem, and promote self-love. In essence, Yoga helps us to live healthier, happier lives. I have practiced yoga for over 23 years now, and I’ve been teaching for over 7 years with my certifications. The funniest thing is that almost everyone in my life isn’t surprised that I am a yoga teacher now. The reason for that is because I’ve been teaching people around me yoga since I started practicing when I first started.
